The USWNT have announced that they will host Costa Rica in an international friendly on July 16 as their 'Send-Off' match for the Paris Olympic Games.

The roster for the match will feature the 2024 U.S. women's national team Olympic roster, with their July 13 clash with Mexico consisting of the same group, as well.

The match will be Hayes' fourth in charge with her squad, giving her a string of matches to leave her mark on the team ahead of the marquee event in France. When the Paris Games begin, the USWNT will take on Zambia, Germany and Australia in the Group Stage of the tournament.
The USWNT has faced Costa Rica 17 times throughout history, recording 17 wins.
The U.S. will next take the pitch as a team in June, when they host Korea Republic in a pair of friendlies to begin Hayes' tenure in charge. As they prepare for the Paris Games, the Costa Rica match will thereby serve as their fourth and final test.
